OCTO 250 BETAGUARD TOWER

This is the new and safer way to build alloy scaffold towers that is being specified by major contractors.

THE BETAGUARD OCTO 250 TOWER is available in both “Double Width” (1.45m ) and “Narrow Width” (0.9m ) frame sizes. Using strong non-slip rungs spaced at 250 centres it allows more working levels to be achieved and places the handrails at the required recommended placements. Frame sizes are available from 1-8 rungs which helps achieve accurate heights when working in restricted areas such as apex roofs and suspended ceilings. The conical spigot is designed to prevent frame jam which often happens when two frames seize together and damage occurs trying to release them. Platform lengths are 1.5 or 2.5 and towers can be linked to form facade runs and boxing ring applications.

BETAGUARD – Assembly and dismantle of the tower has been simplified by eliminating the use of any diagonal or horizontal braces in the build thus reducing the components to just 3 items with a cost saving to be had by no loss and damages normally associated with braced towers. The simplicity of the BETAGUARD FRAME reduces the assembly time needed once again a cost saving on labour time and a 4.2 platform height tower can be safely built in under 5.00 minutes.

The BetaGuard also forms an advanced guardrail during the build and dismantle process allowing you to work at level 3 of The Hierarchy of Measures within the working at height regulations 2005.

This tower is now recommended by most of the Major Contractors as best practice and is the only type of tower allowed to be used.
